Pakistan’s first ever scientific disposal site at Lakhodair gets operational 18 April 2016, Lahore

The LWMC emphasizes greatly on the health and safety of all its staff including the sanitary workers, who are considered as the backbone of the LWMC operations. The HR department has been exerting concerted efforts to coordinate with different hospitals to manage screening and vaccination of Hepatitis B & C for our workers, which is one of the most common and life threatening ailment being contracted these days.

For the purpose Mian Munshi Hospital Lahore, through the efforts of HR Department, has offered to provide us free of cost screening and vaccination, and wherever necessary treatment of workers. We feel elated to share with you that for the first time since inception of LWMC such an activity has been successfully executed; the activity is underway since 10th May, 2016.

Currently, in the initial phase staff of Ring Road area are being screened and vaccinated while the activity shall be extended to other areas in the subsequent phases.
